Now that everyone has to take their business online (I hope you got that memo- social distancing, masks, no congregating, etc), I am sure you are trying to figure out how to create visually appealing video content online.
As a business coach, visual/video content is one of the ways that I communicate with you- my audience. As a entrepreneur, mum, wife and more, it is super important that I do so with as little headache as possible. How did I achieve this?
Step 1: Tools to Record Visually Appealing Content
I got myself some reasonably-priced, high quality tools that helped me to deliver great video content with my one-woman crew. Here are my favorites:
- Ring light: Why do you need a right light? Because in most our homes, lighting is ‘iffy’. Now I have perfect lighting both day and night. Here is a link to the ring light I got from amazing amazon.
- Tripod stand: This allows me to be more versatile and take videos and photos from any angle. You wouldn’t believe how handy this came in when we were quarantined. Here’s the best part: it comes with a remote control so that you can start and stop videos from a distance. #win
- Camera: A good webcam has been a real blessing. I highly recommend the Logitech C920 HD Webcam. Listen….all I can say is that it’s the bomb!
Step 2: Apps I use to edit my videos
When it comes to editing the video, all I can say is that these apps make this novice look much more competent than she really is. Here are some of the easy to use apps that I recommend:
- iMovie- This IOS app has been a very convenient help to me. I haven’t mastered how to use the trailers as yet but I have made a couple of review videos that are really cool. Features I love include video in video, video cut outs and background tracks.
- Inshot – This is an easy to use App that’s available on both IOS and Android. You can add voice overs, background tracks and filters just in case the image needs some help.
- Quik – This app is perfect for 1 -minute teaser video.s Add your photos and videos, then choose a template to make your content pop.
I hope that these tools will help you to elevate your video and photos especially if you are a solotrepreneur. If you have a bigger issue of not being sure of how to get the idea from your mind to action – click here – this program would definitely help you.
